Monique ClarkeMonique Clarke was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica. In 2006, during the 6th year of her primary education, she migrated to the United States of America. Monique currently lives in Brownsville, Brooklyn. She graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice June 2016. At John Jay Monique majored in Criminology and minored in English. She worked as a SEEK Peer Mentor and was a member of Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honors Society as well as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar. Monique is currently in her second semester of graduate school at Brooklyn College and she is interested in researching Black male’s experiences in higher education. Ultimately, she intends to become a research Sociologist who contributes real value and knowledge to the field of Sociology and Criminology.
