Samuel H. TapiaThis writer was born in a small village outside of Puebla, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States with his family at the tender age of three. During his formative years he learned the guitar and performed with bands, comprised of a close-knit group of friends. He also cultivated a passion for creating art, dabbling in drawing and collage works.
After traveling abroad, Sam decided he wanted to make an impact and help change society. He enrolled at John Jay to earn a degree in International Criminal Justice. After participating in some of his first creative writing courses he has learned a new passion and continues to hone his writing skills. He is currently in his last year at John Jay and lives in Harlem with his girlfriend, two cats and a collection of 30 cacti and succulents. |
