Michael FilippinoMichael Filippino is a 22 year old Senior at John Jay, majoring in English and minoring in Philosophy. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, he began his academic career at John Jay with the intention of going to Law School. However, Michael never thought in a million years that he'd be majoring in English, as someone who did very horribly in English Literature studies in middle school and high school. Shortly after he began studying Literature, Michael's life changed forever, and since then he has no regrets about declaring a major in English! Inspired by fiction and non-fiction writing alike, Michael currently is the Vice President of Ink/The Quill, John Jay's Creative Writing club.
