Laila MansourLaila Mansour is a junior at John Jay. She is a forensic science and English double major in the Macaulay Honors program. She has always loved writing, especially creative writing, so she knew she wanted to continue honing her craft in college. When she saw creative nonfiction was a class option, she jumped at the chance to explore the genre that she has always enjoyed. She’s not sure her life is really that interesting, but she’s enjoyed writing about it if only to preserve the memories and people of her childhood.
