Hakimah Malam Hakimah Malam is a John Jay College freshman majoring in Criminal Justice and English. With an arts background in instrumental music and acting, she wanted to pursue her love of writing full-time in college. She currently takes Creative Nonfiction with Professor Madrazo, and has started cultivating memoir work and other forms of nonfiction. Next semester she will join the LOL production team behind the scenes. This first story on the show will soon also be published by Journal to Journey and performed as a 10-minute one-act play on May 14-15, 2026. Outside of school, she likes writing poetry and performing spoken word.
