Lilia Russu

Lilia Rusu, is originally from a small village in Moldova, in the former USSR. She moved to the US at age twenty. She is currently a student at John Jay in the Law and Society Department; a volunteer at Elis Island’s museum of Immigration; and a multilingual translator/interpreter for several immigration firms. She is fluent in Romanian, Russian, Moldovan, English, basic Spanish, and Ukrainian. She writes blogs, short stories, and articles.
