Life Out Loud is a literary nonfiction podcast series that features real students' stories. Born in a John Jay College Creative Nonfiction writing classroom in the Fall, 2015 semester, Life Out Loud seeks to diversify the perspectives typically shared in the CNF genre. Our project aims to amplify voices seldom heard through artful truth-telling simply because we believe that all stories matter; we make them, and they make us.
