Reana

Reana is a St. Lucian native who immigrated to the U.S. when she was 13. Throughout her first years of living in America, she hadn’t had the easiest time adapting to a new country, with where she lived, constantly changing. Nevertheless, she is now in her third year at John Jay pursuing her bachelor's in English, hoping to work as an editor for novels at a publishing company. She never considered herself a writer--more someone who helps other people with their writing--but after taking Professor Madrazo’s Creative Nonfiction class, she found herself enjoying writing her own stories and wanting to continue writing herself.
