Lianne IranLianne Iran is a current senior at John Jay majoring in English. She had always loved writing and often wrote short stories as a hobby, but it wasn’t until college that she considered writing to be a career option for her. She graduated from FIT in 2022 with a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications and after taking some writing courses, she wanted to switch gears to fully focus on studying writing and literature, which is why she transferred to John Jay to study English shortly after graduating. Although unsure of what she wants to pursue after college, she plans to hone the skills that she used during her time at John Jay and hopes to share more of her writing with people in the future.
