Massiel Alfonso:Massiel, is a 21-year old recent John Jay Graduate. Born and raised in Washington Heights, Massiel knew early on that her passion for writing poetry was more than just a form of escaping emotional situations. She discovered her creative talent around the age of 12. Ever since, she's been writing poems and short stories, which she shares with friends and family on her blog. She hopes to one day write her own poetry book-one through which she’ll share with the world what her view from this rollercoaster looks like.
